THE UPSTAIRS APARTMENT

The house is L-shaped (around the large terrace). The one length holds the open kitchen/lounge, with a main entrance door to the lounge. The second length can be entered either through the stone arch from the kitchen or by the second entrance door. This door lead to a small hallway separating the two bedrooms. From this hallway is also the door to the toilet/shower room (with italian tiles).

The main bedroom has a King sized bed, large wardrobe, dressing table, air conditioning and two windows (one overlooking the terrace and the sea) – and a traditional thick door. The second bedroom is a lovely room with vaulted ceilings and a fireplace. The double bed here is a bit smaller, probably Queens size.

This bedroom is full of character. You enter it through the ancient stone arch from the kitchen. Because of the old arched doorways, it would kill the atmosphere of the house to put in traditional doors here. Instead thick fabric curtains work as doors in this room.

The large terrace is almost 30 meters and provides beautiful views over the Mediterranean and the sunset.

The terrace is wine covered with very tasty black and white grapes.

The large dinning table is handmade from solid hardwood.

And when you sit on the large terrace at the end of the day, watching the sunset over the Messinian bay,
stargazing up in an incredible bright Milky way life can still be wonderful even in troubled times.

THE UNIUE DOWNSTAIRS STUDIO

Everything about the downstairs studio is unique.

the builders had to dig through 1,5 meters of solid rocks to get to the old water reservoir. You are literally standing on Sometimes you almost wished you were a caveman.
